Those curious children are the eastiest to shoot ;) .. another good shot, well done (good DOF here as well).

What gear did you actually take to Sri Lanka and for what reasons? I mean, did you choose rather cheap equipement for the possibility it gets stolen or did you just take what you thought fit for the job?

I took my cams, that's all. I think my EOS is very trustable, wide angle lens for photojounralism, tri-X for the beauty of it. that's all ;)

Is it the 1.8 USM or the 2.8? How's the lens generally .. know any comparison between both of them?

Jolie photo, et la série est trés sympa.
Cependant, j'aurais préferé un plus grand champs de netteté, afin d'avoir le garçon en arrière plan net... c'est ça que je trouve interressant, les deux ptits garçons qui regardent dans un sens opposé, et l'un d'eux a plus grands rapport avec nous et avec le photographe... mais sur cette photo le fait que l'autre est pas mal (trop) flou nous en éloigne trop de lui et le rend bien moins présent et je trouve ça dommage.
Et tout ce que je viens de dire est aussi valable pour le paysage en arrière plan, j'aurais aimé qu'il soit plus ancré à la photo.
